Have been following your posts recently…love your website. I have always loved baking, although it has often been a challenge as alot of the ingredients are difficult to get. We recently moved back to India after living in the US, and I still have a hard time figuring out where to buy the ingredients. I wanted to try making your quark- where do I get cultured buttermilk – Amul/Verka/some other company..does it come by any name…what would it be called in Hindi??? Also where do you buy most of your ingredients in Delhi- eg rennet, tartaric acid. I live in Jalandhar and have been asking around, but usually get incredulous looks. We do visit Delhi often, so I could pick up my ingredients there if I knew where to go.

First of all you have a wonderful blog here. I too have recently started taking interest in baking…mainly for my kids…but as usual getting baking tools & ingredients are a pain
Lastly which is the best unsalted butter that can be used for baking and heavy cream too as I don’t seem to find anything other than Amul ….
